Since 1993, I’ve been an avid seeker of spiritual states of freedom and a devoted practitioner of meditation. Through the decades I’ve slowly discovered how meditation is intimately intertwined with Tantra. During tantric meditations, I delve deeper into myself, nurturing a cozy, intimate connection with my innermost being. Breathing ever so slowly and deeply, I’m exploring the meeting of my spirituality, sensuality, and sexuality. It’s in this space that I can feel my real masculinity and power.

I’m also discovering that this tantric meditation practice transports me into a profound dimension across all the relationships in my life. All human beings cease to be strangers or separate entities with uncrossable boundaries. I experience each person as a unique blend of spirituality, sensuality, and sacred sexuality. The super alive tantric life force that I am accessing within is reflected and mirrored back in my external experiences with others. I greet them with a huge smile because I feel this great joy bubbling within me, and they feel the immediate connection that they are welcomed and appreciated just as they are.
The practice of blending sensuality and spirituality in the body also makes it easier to transcend the mind’s boundaries between the profane and the divine. Anything perceived as a block or interference between the physical and spiritual worlds can suddenly transform into a bridge. Every sensation you have, such as the touch of air on the skin, the rhythm of your breath, or the pulsing heartbeat within your chest is revered as the most sacred path to feeling, seeing, and knowing the Divine.
As I release my mental restrictions and allow the pure feeling of sensuality to move freely through my physical body, I find that I can relax deeper into my spiritual core. Here, my ordinary human existence begins to transcend normal boundaries. I begin to see and feel all of life as one harmonious universal flow. The typical me, raised to be sensually repressed and cut off from the world, begins to sprout its tethered wings and feel like he can soar beyond the highest skies.
